William Day Chapter

Welcome!

William Day Chapter was organized in 10 October 1998 in Duluth, GA in honor of William Day who was born around 1756 in Virginia and died 30 May 1841 in Pickens District of South Carolina.  He served as a private in the Revolutionary War.

Our goal is to create a chapter which is not only friendly but which fosters the DAR mission: “To promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism and to uphold the DAR Motto:  God, Home and Country.
