The William Day Chapter, founded in 1998, is a small chapter with a big heart. The ladies of William Day are committed to promoting patriotism, education, and historic preservation. Here are a few of the many projects in which the members of William Day are involved:

  • Cooperation with Sons of the American Revolution, Children of the American Revolution, and Sons of the Revolution
  • DAR Schools
  • Junior Membership
  • Observation of Constitution Week, Flag Day, and National Day of Prayer
  • ROTC awards in local schools
  • Service to Veterans
  • Project Patriot
  • Genealogy Preservation
  • Historic Programs in schools

The William Day Chapter is enthusiastically participating in President General Lynn Young’s Celebrate America! Initiative, calling for DAR members to collectively invest one million volunteer hours this year.

We love prospective members! If the William Day Chapter sounds like a group you’d like to join, please send us an email. We’re happy to answer questions and guide prospective members through the application process. Please consider visiting our next meeting!
