The William Day Chapter, NSDAR, is eager to answer your questions and help you along the path to becoming a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Few adventures in your life will be more rewarding than joining a society that promotes "God, Home, and Country."

The William Day Chapter, NSDAR, organized on October 10, 1998, in Duluth, Georgia. William Day was born in 1756 in Virginia and died May 30, 1841, in the Pendleton District, South Carolina. He was a private in the Revolutionary War and served under Colonel Lewis of the Virginia Line.

The William Day Chapter, NSDAR, is committed to promoting patriotism, education and historic preservation through volunteer work in a committee system for projects such as:

  • Cooperation with Sons of the American Revolution, Children of the American Revolution, and Sons of the Revolution
  • DAR Schools and Junior Membership
  • ROTC awards in local schools
  • Service to Veterans and Project Patriot
  • Genealogy Preservation and Historic Programs in schools
  • Observation of Constitution Week, Flag Day, and National Day of Prayer

Our chapter offers the opportunity to help educate our youth, preserve the past and promote love of our country while making lifelong friendships. We love prospective members! The chapter is happy to answer questions and guide prospective members through the application process.
